"There have even been studies showing that cultures with high intake of monounsaturated fats have less wrinkles." Other sources of monounsaturated fats include olive oil, almond and peanut butter.

* Sweet Potatoes for Smooth Skin
Sweet potatoes are a source of vitamin C, which has been shown to support the growth of collagen, a protein that smoothes out wrinkles and give the face a fuller appearance younger. The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition reported that volunteers who consumed 4 milligrams of vitamin C every day for three years were 11 percent less likely to have a wrinkled appearance. Another great source of vitamin C include papaya, carrots and citrus fruits.
